Dramatic weather on I-15 through Arizona.
Above the morning fog at Fremont Peak, about 3,000 feet up and always sunny!
Taken yesterday, but you get the idea…
We drove from Palm Desert over the San Bernadino Mountains to return to San Diego. It was the weirdest experience. We left the desert, climbed to about 4,000 feet in a blizzard; people were pulled over attaching snow chains. Then we were in San Diego, all tee-shirts and sunshine.
It was the only snow I experienced this winter…totally unexpectedly.
There was the faintest hint of a rainbow over this campground in Half Moon Bay.
The lovely view returning to San Francisco this week.
The day before I left Illinois, it snowed.
We drove through this wind farm in Indiana. Wind power is so cool. It seems so low-tech and high-tech at the same time…like the 1950s idea of “The Future.”
