Happy Valentine’s Day! My shweetie and I went to Folsom this weekend, where a “buy some heart-shaped crap!” balloon was reflecting the historic downtown façade against the developing foreground of…parking lots and I don’t remember. We like to go places together.
Havana (La Habana) is a dark city. Only the most central part of the malecón, the boardwalk, is lit at night, and somewhat randomly. Entire buildings don’t have electricity. All I can think about lately is how much I miss this man and how excited I am to see him soon. Here he is, making me pasta at my parents’ house: We all know how much I love a man who can make pasta. I just think mine is so much cuter. Yay!

My oldest friend (since we were five years old!) got married over the weekend. This is my favorite photo of the weekend, when her mother was feeding the couple’s dog from room service about an hour before the ceremony.
