One of these guys was walking this line (clipped in) when we were driving by, causing us all to point and gasp. We waited for him to do it again but they were futzing with the line and their photographer so we left. People are crazy.

This week I am writing about Chile. This is a photo I took in Chile three years ago.
In addition to sleepers and trees, I also like to shoot rustbuckets. A million questions descend on me whenever I come across a completely burned out car, particularly in the middle of nowhere, and I want to address them all to this husk of a vehicle. Where did you come from? Where have you been? Who left you here? And what happened then?
